Introduction

Mission

The Singapore Bible College Library serves scholars (English and Chinese) in the Schools of Theology, Church Music, and Counselling at SBC. The library supports the mission of SBC to nurture integrative thinkers and effective communicators and commits to providing resources for servant leaders preparing for local and global ministry and missions. As new fields of disciplines emerge, the library supports both current and growing areas of study at the College, cultivates an enriching and sustainable collection, and adapts to evolving models of resource management and discovery.

Budget

The annual library materials budget is proposed by the Library Services Department for incorporation into the College’s annual budget exercise based on needs, considerations, and enhancements that best support the college’s goal to serve the students at SBC. Expenditures are planned to cover costs for current and anticipated inflation for ongoing resources including aggregators, databases, ejournals, and ebook subscriptions.
